The Shimano V2 Splined bottom bracket is, far as I'm concerned, the best bottom bracket ever designed, second only to the XTR unit.
Will work with Shimano XT, LX and certain Deore splined style cranks only.
Not compatible with the older style square taper cranks, ISIS cranks or today's 2 piece cranks.
A special Shimano tool is required to install this bottom bracket.  I recommend a professional shop do the install.
