Azonic designed this knee pad back at least 6 years ago.  It offers about the best protection possible for a strap on style knee pad.
I recommend this pad for DH and freeride use.  Although very comfortable to pedal in, the neoprene is a bit too hot for XC use, unless you're riding in cool temperatures.
Order the size, S/M if you're legs are skinny.  The L/XL size is very large and will not tighten properly if you have thin legs.
