Giro discontinued the Mad Max for 2006 and replaced it with the Remedy.
The Giro Remedy full face helmet has more protection compared to the Mad Max and a better fit.
Goggle fit is superb as is peripheral vision.  The Remedy still has a few vents to help dissipate heat.
The Remedy is not Snell or DOT approved, but I have seen it protect riders during bad crashes.
The Matte finish is durable and the visor adjustment has plenty of through to raise it high and out of view.
The Remedy remains the same helmet for 2007.
The washable liner is a nice feature!
